Security and custody
Invictus is semi-custodial. You keep full control of the wallet you connect. Liquidity is deployed from dedicated Invictus wallets linked to it, which act on your instructions so that complex, multi-step actions take one confirmation.
What stays with you
- Your connected wallet
- Its keys never leave your device. Invictus cannot move funds from it.
- Your instructions
- Invictus wallets deposit, rebalance, claim and withdraw only when you ask, or under rules you set.
- Your funds
- Funds in Invictus wallets are attributed to you and are withdrawn to your connected wallet.
How we protect Invictus wallets
- Invictus wallets act only on the actions you request, or the rules you set.
- Withdrawals go only to the connected wallet that owns them.
- Infrastructure is protected with encryption in transit, restricted access and monitoring.
Invictus will never ask for your seed phrase, contact you first in direct messages, or ask you to send funds to verify a wallet.
Risks of providing liquidity
Providing liquidity can lose money. Before you deploy, understand:
- Market
- Price moves and impermanent loss can outweigh the fees you earn.
- Range
- Concentrated positions stop earning when price leaves your range.
- Smart contract
- Protocols, tokens and Invictus software can contain bugs or be exploited.
- Network
- Congestion and outages can delay or fail transactions.
- Asset
- Stablecoins can lose their peg; tokens can be frozen or illiquid.
